@Mr_T_1955Started just about today, this fix doesn't work and I get crashes again... Gosh, how is the development process for Origin managed anyway? This is very messy

@eonizer At least it is only on startup. After restarting origin client' i can play normally

I know "Restart Origin" works in this case, but the point of this thread is that it keeps crashing at system startup. And it gets annoying to press restart every time...

It worked for me, but, i disabled windows startup

Also had many issues over the past week. Haven't played many games, but it does crash and have an error reporting window pop up shortly after I start my computer.

Sorry for my prior statement regarding a fix - evidently Origin crashed so badly that it would no longer run. Since it wasn't trying to run, it wasn't crashing. Irritating coincidence.

I just finished a rather discouraging chat with EA support. It seems that they take the stance that their Origin Client updates they force on us are flawless and if there is any trouble then it MUST be the users' (dozens? hundreds? thousands?) PC. I've got a laundry list of hoops to jump through before I follow up with them again.
Discouraging, disheartening, irritated is how I feel about Origin support right now. I've been using Steam for FAR longer than I have Origin and have had no trouble with Steam so far...
