So starting yesterday I had a strange pop-up in origin on a regular basis regarding some sort of prize to be won concerning questions answered. This occured at the same time as an apparent virus took control of windows defender. I managed to delete the registry items preventing this and ran a scan to no result. I thin ran antispyware and discovered nothing regarding origin. The pop-ups continued, I have tried to uninstall and reinstall origin but it still occurs.
This thing lists itself as "membership rewards" and it seems very much like a virus.
Does anyone know what this is?
