I am blown away at how difficult I have been making this whole process.  I’ve been trying to expand tiny C drive space from my D drive space and was unable to do so.  This is all I had to do to avoid any of that.

i just had this problem trying to change it from steam to origin (due to some bug that had infinite an loading screen) and all i had to do is just rename the game from "Apex Legends" to "Apex" and it fixed it for me
