@morrema I just want to thank you. After two days of uninstalling and reinstalling my Origin app AND 54 minutes on the phone with EA I still didn't have a solution. I thought I would give it one last ditch effort... I saw your suggestion and it is the only thing that worked. Thank you so much!!!

For anyone else seeing the issue and not able to get it working can you ensure that Origin is not being blocked on your system, which you can do by taking a look at this help article and then ensuring that you are allowing Origin to run: https://support.apple.com/en-ie/HT202491
