Origin Installer Issues on Cantalina (MacOS 10.15)

Hi,

Just to let EA games know of the following issues that future Catalina users will have.

I had a update for origin which download but I tried to install it I got an error message:

“Origin” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

i had resolved this problem. you can just open your privacy and security>general>unlock to change settings> close the pop-up message that says about malicious content> at the general settings tick the "open anyway".

Hey @john78wunder can you try right-clicking on the app and then hit Open.

This issue is affecting a number of apps on Mac and users are generally able to fix it by trying the above.

Ok So I clicked open anyway and the games will still not launch.

I am having the same issues. Everything EA Chat Support suggested didn't work. The last option was to uninstall Origin, restart computer, then reinstall-- now I can't install it at all.    Any luck? There is no option to "proceed anyway."
