Origin error 0xc00007b - how to fix it?

Sad to see same error thread lasting multiple YEARS, spend 2h trying to repair my 15y old daughters laptop so she can play her game that i spend 250€ on these last 3 years and still doesnt work. Yes she downloads cc's which sometime break the game and forces a reinstall but this is pure EA origin stuff and scandelous. Would love to start a class action suit vs EA to make them pay us for all the hours we spend trying to make their game work.

2 days, 5 youtube videos and 50x restarts and CCleaner, .net installs and tons of CC++ installs it works.

I went from 0xc00007b errors to msvcp140 errors and back to 0xc00007b

Cant say what the solution was or if i was all of them but it ended with downloading msvcp140 + vcruntime140 again, unpacking them and copying them into windows64 something.

Reinstall the whole CC package 2005-2019

and it seems to be working for the moment.

no ale tím to nebude protože já mám v nastavení zapnutý všecky frameworky od verze 3.5 až po verzy 4.8 všecky zapnuty msvcp100 ano opravený dale msvcp140 opraveno registry dll to tím asi nebude já mám horší problem zkušám nainstalovat originthin setup a první co mi vyskoči při spuštění instalace ani se ta instalace nenačte Aplikace se nemohla správně spustit (0xc000007b).a bez klienta origin si nezahraju nic ani need for speed ani payback ani starwars jedi fallen order který má přes 54 gb a nefunguje mi spuštění te hry protože nemám funkční origin za druhé kompl mám asi za 35000 kč direc x12 vulcan 12 amd radeon rx580 8gb 8000 mghz AmD Radeon XFX triple edition procesor osmijádro fx 8370 a 16 gb ram v sestavě mího komplu určit chyba není a mám verzy windowsu 10 pro 64 bit 20H2 proffesional tak mi kurva řekni kde je chyba podle m za to može asi ta aktulizace teho originu te aplikace a její aktulizace emu64 tam bude asi problem proč to haže ty chyby poslal bych ti screenshoty ale nevím jak scannow sem vyzkušal taky nepomohlo to nepomohlo přeinstalovat ani framwerk net a nepomohlo mi nic s teho co jste tady ve foru rozebírali reinstall originu haha vtipný to by mi musela první fungovat isntační aplikace originthinsetup.exe pro windows stažena ze stránky https://www.origin.com/irl/en-us/store/download a při spuštění po dokončení stažení aplikace výsledek je při spuštění ikonky cituji okno s křížkem originThinSetup.exe-application error The application was unable to start correctly 0x000007b. tak vy experti na chyby a ted hledej bordel včera jsem aj dokonce promazal starý temp složku v system 32 nepomoho to ani oprava redgit nejsu piča vyzkoušel jsem jako první nahradit rergistry opravou reddgit neuspěch a asi ani neuspěch na dále tím mi asi origin říká že mám přestat hrat přes nj hry za včasu a abych asi na origin se vykašlal ale těch penez co jsem do teho nraval a ve finále jakože nic no ta kompenzacce servereu ea by se mi hodila origin je ve finále chyba společnosti EA

I had to reinstall my operating system so origin would be usable again. Because of ONE app!

 I've done everything he said but still no luck, so I did install 

Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019
x86 and x64 at
https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/
(just go to tab "Other Tools, Frameworks, and Redistributables")

After doing everything @0000000V0000000  had said AND installing  Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019 x86 and x64,
everything is running fine by now.
