I have been having issues with my Sims 4 the last couple of days were it wouldn't save, So i uninstalled the game and reinstalled it - but no change.
I then uninstalled origin and reinstalled it but now when I try to re download the sims it just sits on download in queue and nothing happens??
Not really sure what to do now, I've tried uninstalling origin again but there is now change.
I am using a Mac if that is any help.

As a first step you can use Safe Mode https://support.apple.com/en-ie/HT201262
Then if your issue persists try Safe Mode Downloading.You can turn on this function via the Origin Client Menu > Application settings > Diagnostics to increase the reliability of your download. Do note that you might experience reduced download speeds when using this option.

Thank you - I have tried all of this today but the game is still saying Download in queue, not quite sure what to do now

Reset Origin to its default status to resolve connectivity and download issues caused by Origin settings-> Reset Origin
