Did you try the uninstaller and did it work? I am a bit apprehensive about installing things on to my computer, any feedback would be nice Standard smile Thank you!

@Syprill go to SAFE MODE with Networking and do the steps...

Manually uninstalled Origin

 Run CCleaner

 Install Origin
Look here to enter in Safe Mod http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows...

What is SAFE MOD ?
- In Safe Mode operating system will have a reduced functionality, but the task of solving problems will be easier because most components (services, drivers, programs, etc.) that are not critical system will not be loaded.
- Safe Mode provides access to diagnostic tools and programs, giving the user the ability to solve problems that prevent the operating system to work properly. Safe Mode is intended as a way to maintain and not an operating mode.

Spoiler

Constantly updating drivers is a good way to Mess'up the whole system. ""Don't f with it if it ain't broken!""

My Opinion is no more important or right than yours.- Ask, and it shall be given you.

Any good fixes for this garbage yet?

Can't download from Origin and they won't refund anything.

Program trashes my system and can't be uninstalled.

What a headache.

I'm having the same problem... It never had this problem until I updated my Original application.

You know... Best Buy can remove viruses and uninstall unwanted things, but that costs money, none of us wants to do that.

Has there been any good solution?

I found a solution...or rather,a work around.

I under clocked my PC to 1.5GHz slower than stock.

This lets Origin do it's thing and I can jump back to 1GHz faster than stock after Origin is finished.

So yeah...slowed my PC by 2.5GHz just to do a download...smfh...

This is the ONLY time I have to slow my machine.
