Hey EA,
Just yesterday Origin has started crashing on start up and I can not figure out the reason. There was nothing weird I didn't prior to Origin crashing that would make it start crashing. I have looked up solutions and none have worked. I have tried clearing the cache, changing screen resolution, uninstalling and reinstalling, I've made sure nothing is running in the background, I have tried running in compatibility mode, ran as administrator, and some other things that I just don't remember because I have tried so much. Attached is a picture of what happens when I try opening Origin. After reinstalling I was prompted to log in and then the same thing happened again. Please help me I want to play my game that I spent money on!!

Sorry to hear that you are having issues @Dkrone26. Can you ensure that your firewall and anti-virus are not blocking Origin and that you also have the ports for Origin open.
The ports to open are:
· TCP: 80; 443; 9960-9969; 1024-1124; 3216; 18000; 18120; 18060; 27900; 28910; 29900
· UDP: 1024-1124; 18000; 29900
You can also try turning off the routers firewall to see if it helps.

@packis1 Try doing a clean uninstall of Origin, including removing an extra file that the reset tool misses. Here's how:
https://bluebellflora.com/how-to-uninstall-origin-on-a-mac/
If Origin still crashes immediately, do another clean uninstall, and download the legacy version from here:
https://www.dm.origin.com/mac/download/legacy
Be sure to tell Origin not to update itself, or it will patch to to the latest, nonworking version again.
