Origin Client wont work anymore

I can't start Origin anymore, if i do i only see the upper menu with "origin Spiele Freunde Anzeigen Hilfe" (German Version), and then the Origin Logo on the left side with a dark grey background and 6 light grey menu points without text. Here is a screenshot:

What i have done, written here in the Forum:
- Quit Origin in the task manager
- Deleted the file OriginThinSetupInternal.exe
- Deleted everything except "LocalContent" in %programData%\Origin\
- Deleted everything in %AppData%\Origin\
- Start something like CCleaner
- Windows 7 Pro 64bit is up to date with all updates
- Restart the Computer

There is a log file called "Debug.log" but there is only one entry: "WARNING:resource_bundle_qt.cpp(114)] locale_file_path.empty() for locale". What can i do to play the games i have paied for while software pirates can do?

Hey @Laromiel let's start by clearing your Origin Cache to see if it makes a difference.

You can clear the Origin Cache by following the steps below:

1. Completely log out and close down Origin
2. Hold down the Windows key and R
3. Type in "%ProgramData%" (without quotes) and click OK
4. Now open the Origin folder.
5. Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for LocalContent (do not delete this one)
6. Hold down the Windows key and R
7. Type in "%AppData%" (without quotes) and click OK
8. This will take you to a Roaming folder, which is located inside of AppData. Delete the Origin folder
9. Click on the word "AppData" at the top of your window
10. Open the Local folder here
11. Delete the Origin folder listed here
12. Restart your PC and log back into Origin

Hey @EA_Darko the OP said they’d already done this. I’m having the same problem except I don’t even get the blank window - the window is completely transparent apart from the very top left corner which looks like it’s from Windows 2000 (as reported by others). I’ve tried every fix I could find, including the one you’ve listed here. Does EA know what the problem is and are they working on it?

Hey @mattomatic I know that the op did a number of troubleshooting steps but from the image, they attached clearing the Origin Cache is the solution in 99% of cases. As such, I need to ensure that the steps to clear the cache were followed exactly. It can be the case that you may need to clear it a second time. 

Can you grab me a screenshot of what you are seeing in Origin?

The rest of the window is there somewhere because it intercepts mouse clicks, but that’s all I see and all I can interact with.

Hey @mattomatic let's try the following:

• Right mouse click on the origin shortcut and select open file location
• Find origin.exe
• Right click on origin.exe, select properties and then open the compatibility tab. 
• Check Override the high DPI and then hit system from the drop-down before saving and exiting

If that does nothing can you try the following:

• In task manager end "Origin", "OriginWebHelperservice" and "OriginThinSetupInternal"
• Open you Origin install folder
• Delete the file "OriginThinSetupInternal'
• Right click on Origin and then select "Troubleshoot compatibility"
• Click "Try recommended settings" and then"Test the program"
• Save the settings in the compatibility troubleshooter.
• Origin will prompt you that you are using a compatibility setting. Click continue.
• Once done launch Origin
