FIFA 18 is not supported on a Mac.
I should have made it clear in the above post that the transfer only works for games that have a Mac compatible version, sorry about that.

You can see if a game has a Mac version at the games page in the Origin store, (client or browser) under "System requirements".
If no "MAC SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS" are listed, there is no Mac version.
I doubt that there is a list, but maybe Bluebellflora knows of one.
Edit: You can filter the Origin store for Mac Games. (Thanks @Bluebellflora. )

Hello all,
im pleased to inform you that the problem was solved. i had battlefield4 and syberia 2 installed on my pc, then had to reinstall windows. after that i installed origin, i went to settings and changed the location to where i previously installed the 2 games. then i renamed the old folders, started the download of BF4, paused it, moved the entire contents of the previous game to the new folder created by Origin, then pressed resume in Origin app, the installer then said "Resuming" and it checked the content for about 10 minutes. after that it said Battlefield 4 is installed. I did the same thing with syberia 2 and it worked!
so : point to the folder containing the previous games, rename the old folders, start new download and pause, move content to new folder, resume download, wait for check, then play

After you have copied all the files into the new drive can you delete the original files from the initial drive location or do you have to wait until you have started the download for the game again?
