Hi,

those files are different as it is a different OS. You would not be able to use

the data from a Windows PC on a Mac PC, unless you are running Windows

virtually on your Mac PC of course.

Hi,

there is no other method. Restore the game folders from a backup or download.

Did you follow the correct order?

ps please do not use all caps

thank you so much for that.  You saved me a lot of time and money (I was at my download limit for the month)

I will also use it for all the C&C games I just bought

im in a slightly difforent part of this boat. i had all these games on a 1TB HDD, wich alos had my OS on it, but i fresh installed my OS onto a smaller HDD (i have my reasons), and now use the 1TB as a storage drive. so now im trying to figure out how to remap the games so that orgin knows to play them off the 1TB. thanks in advance.

@happyhacker1992 Hi,

Just go through the instructions 1 and 2 and then click on Origin > Application Settings > Advanced Tab > and under "Downloaded Games" the Choose...  button to select a folder on you desired drive. Just make sure it is a slightly different path then those that you already have on the drive.

Then continue with 3-8 but replace C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games in step 6 with the folder that you selected these games to be installed into.

This should do the trick.

Cheers,

Nils

I just got a new laptop, and I had a few games on my other computer that were hooked up to my origin account but now they arent even in "my games", is there anyway to get them back without the disc(burned in house fire)?
