Since Windows update, game doesn't update, I uninstalled it and can't reinstall it.

Finally fixed it. I couldn't figure anything out for a couple of days and then followed these steps and it fixed it! Finally! https://windowsreport.com/sims-4-wont-start-fix/

Ok so a clean boot worked but...

the services I had to disable were only "Origin Client Service" and "Origin Web Helper Services" (??????)

Can't install, uninstall or update any games

I have a problem with updating, installing or uninstalling games on Origin.

"Origin needs to download files and is waiting for permission. Please choose "Yes" when Windows prompts you for permission."

But no prompt pops up, and i simply can't update or install any games. When i try to uninstall, nothing happens.
Please someone help me with this problem.

have you figured anything out, its saying that my game is corrupt and needs to be reinstalled, after i just purchased a bundle pack too... how do i fix this

Download Issues

Basically, Origin keeps saying it needs permissions to install files but it already has admin permissions. It tells me to click "Yes" when Windows prompts me but I never get prompted. I've already reinstalled Origin and restarted my pc. It's a gamer pc and brand new.

@Kymberlee87  Try repairing the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the game's icon, and select Repair.

 

If that doesn't help, or you can't run the repair, clear Origin's cache and try again.

Whether this works or not, EA_Tom is asking for more information about this issue.  It would be great if you could generate an Origin error report and post the report number in this thread.  More details here:
