Holger1405 Here's the malwarebytes scan text file. Premier Opinion is no longer in my program files.
Norton looks good.
Did you cleaned the Adware with Malwarebytes from the system? If not do it please > Restart. (a real Restart, not just shut down and start again.)
.
Then:
If it don't works:
Don't worry if it still don't works, this is mainly to get a fresh install of Origin on your system so we both know where we are itm.

Ran malwarebytes again. added txt file. restarted.
De-installed Origin over windows control panel. restarted.
Downloaded that version of Origin. Ran as administrator. Tested.
It worked! The home page came up straight away, while the game library was blank for several minutes but it popped up and showed my game tiles. I have the game update notices for sims 4. (and other games)
Options are set to: automatic updates games off/ automatic updates origin off/ participate in Origin Client betas off/ automatically start Origin off/ Web Helper Service On
The Sims 4 updated failed. There was not prompt to allow permission. Is this a whole new issue?
Thank you so much for all your help so far!

Do the second step, (disable the startup of the Origin services) > Restart > Test.

disabled the startup of Origin Services. Restarted.
Opened Origin, Prompted for permission to allow Origin. Origin opened. Home page loaded. Game library loaded. Patched Sims 4 Game. Game opened and I was able to play.
I am just amazed. Thank you!
Dances around the room and runs off to play!
