There are many bugs that Origin has, but one of the ones I find most annoying is the delay for Origin boot. I call it a bug because sometimes it does not occur and Origin boots very quickly. It is not loaded into ram as I have experienced this right after reboot.
It will show the Origin splash screen "Connecting to Origin" for a ridiculous amount of time, 30+ seconds. I am not sure what the application is doing within that time. I have a beast of a computer with a gigabit connection that is hardwired from front to back. The delay is absurd. I have yet to find a workaround. I have seen many people complaining that they cannot connect, but no one posting about this absurd delay.
As I said, this does not always happen, but does happen quit frequently. Anyone have any pointers?
