Old Republic Stuck "Finalizing"

Recently I installed The Old Republic from my Origin client.  The game installed and patched completely and I was able to play.  However now when I go to Origin and click on The Old Republic, the side bar appears but there is no play button.  The button is instead replaced with "Finalizing" and it is greyed out.  I have reset the Origin cache and still no solution.  Anyone got any suggestions or solution(s)?  Thank you very much

What occurs if you go to the game folder and use launcher.exe directly does the launcher play button light up after login ? 

so starting swtor in origin doesn't give you the launcher to press play

Edit - or are you talking about KOTOR that is a differnt game to swtor the MMO

I can start SWTOR from the .exe in the file directory.  When I do that the Origin client does not cooperate and still says finalizing.  I've attached a picture for what I mean.

If you simply add launcher.exe via games > add non origin game it should just create a new game tile for swtor you can use to start the launcher 

will that be enough to get you out of trouble with origin ?

Im having the excact same problem as this with SWTOR. In Origin the 'play' button is stuck as a 'Finalizing' button. exactly like the image above.

Hey all, if the download is stuck then you need to ensure that your firewall and anti-virus are not blocking Origin and that you also have the ports for Origin open.

The ports to open are:

• TCP: 80; 443; 9960-9969; 1024-1124; 3216; 18000; 18120; 18060; 27900; 28910; 29900
• UDP: 1024-1124; 18000; 29900

You can also try turning off the routers firewall to see if it helps.

So the game is downloaded but it will not stop finalizing. I am not sure how to check for ports or anything like that but I have no anti virus and no firewall just my normal router.
