I think that there is compatibility problem with the different versions of mac OS. Why does not EA solve these compatibility problems by releasing multiple versions of Origin ?

I have tried updating my software but even that is not working too?? It has to restart. It goes off but then glitches and doesn't come back on. Why is technology so useless and stupid sometimes...

So, I upgraded to High Sierra over night and today I opened origin and it worked! I feel quite stupid for not realising earlier haha. I hadn't realised I wasn't fully updated! Hopefully that will fix the problem for most people! Thank you so much for your help and patience

Ok so I have tried everything EVERYTHING, restarting, deleting it, COMPLETELY GOING THROUGH EVERYTHING THAT SAYS ORGIN and deleting it and re-installing and nothing has worked. They better come up with something soon, like a patch or i am going to lose my patience and i'm very patient, especially with things like this. PLEASE fix it. or I just waisted 70 bucks and 5 hours trying to fix this

It appears that this issue is operating system related, specifically macOS 10.10.5 Yosemite. If you are running an older version of macOS please upgrade to the newest version your Mac supports. You can do this through the App Store. Please note that just checking for updates on your Mac does not prompt for an upgrade to your OS.

If you are running a later version of macOS and still experiencing this issue please post with the version you are running.
