MY SIMS WON'T DOWNLOAD ON MAC! Stuck at 98%

I've also been having this problem ever since I updated to Catalina. I'm very frustrated.

@dreaming22 huh, see that's what i figured! maybe the tech person just had no answers and told me that. 

well, i've had university refunded for now -- but now i'm scared of upgrading to Catalina if it's this buggy as it is.

To be honest, I want to trying a new code of the sims 4 and try it out, but then I might lose all the packs I paid for....

@elenaelena15 To be honest, I started getting the 98% issue on Mojave yesterday evening, so I updated to see if that would change anything.

So no traces of Origin or the game on your Macs? That's a good place to start from scratch again, firstly with a new Origin download then just the base game if it works.

It may well be a bug but there is no common issue you all seem to have. Something is happening at 98% which, TBH, I find quite intriguing!

yeah and I have all the pack except for vampire, island living and strangerville. Ugh I wish I had a PC

@dreaming22 woof, yeah this is happening to me on Mojave and it's happening for others on Catalina so, i have no idea what this issue could be.

Hopefully it's resolved soon tho, but for now looks like no more Sims for me

@WildCherrySt If I had some extra money lying around after I'd bought University, I'd just go get the XBox version of the Sims, just to play it. Buuuut, I must adult.... as it is still 2 weeks more before the end of the month and I still have some later bills to pay.
