Just bought Battlefront. When I try to launch I get the error message
"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCR120.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error"
Did a bit of googling and tried all the standard fixes, reinstalling C++, reinstalling .NET framewrork, registry scan, run as admin etc. When i downloaded the dll manually and placed it in the directory I got the same error referring to MSVCP120.dll. Switched that one out for a downloaded one too and now just get the error:
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)"
This error also appears when i completely remove the two .dll's from the directory so I'm guessing my system isn't recognising the manually replaced ones.

Hello everyone,
A missing MSVCP100.dll file refers to a version of Visual C++ 2010 being damaged, or not installed on the system. This version is available directly from the Microsoft website to repair the file:
32 bits version:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=5555
64bits version:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.a
Download and install both the x86 and x64 versions. If a message pops up stating that the versions are already installed, then instead choose the repair option. Restart the system once the installation or repair is complete.
If further MSVCP or MSVCR errors pop up then then follow the exact same steps for other versions of Visual C++ via the Microsoft website:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2977003

Hello @Fraggass
You should try this steps http://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/igoproxy64-exe-System-Error-MSVCP120-dll-is-missing/td-p/4...
Please note that only the x86 versions will work on 32-bit systems and you should install both the x86 and x64 versions on 64-bit systems.
All my best.

ok finally it works but seriously, origin team you should fix it. It is not possible have this kind of issue even if is not a window problem, at the end is a your problem because I paid money to your company and I wasn't able to play for hours.

Hi there,
This issue is related to missing Windows features, and is not caused by Origin itself. Always make sure that your Windows is completely updated - that should avoid most installation related errors.
