I chose this path because if you install OS and its error from the beginning it is not good.So I chose not to fix the error but to reinstall OS.

And indeed it was the best choice.

This is what helped me:

I went through all my installed "Microsoft Visual C++..." and I had some "x86" that were installed even though I was running on a 64-bit system. I uninstalled/removed all those and I re-installed the necessary one and also reinstalled Origin. It worked after that!

Dear EA Users,

The issue here is the following, to those who have recently updated to Windows 10 as I have, please go into your ''Uninstall'' list and locate and remove all Redistributable that ends and or has (x86) in it. Once you've taken such step, please uninstall the awesome Origin Client, lastly once such process has been completed please ''restart'' your PC/Laptop. Once your PC/Laptop has successfully restarted, log in, once all programs and what not are loaded proceed to the provided link below and download the package, you shouldn't receive a ''Outdated, please update'' prompt whatsoever. Let it install, once completed you can then and only then reinstall the Origin Client, once done Origin will commence an auto-update and viola, your Windows 10 headache ends. If this does not work for all those with Windows 10, then my friends I suggest you visit a specialist asap, luck to all!
