Does anyone know if there is a possibility of launching the Origin system with support for Linux as Steam did with Proton?

@RabinsonGrings I run Origin games from Linux wine, but only if I do not have a steam key (purchased directly thru Origin rather than thru Steam). I try to purchase thru Steam since that allows me to run the game in either Steam or from Origin.

Even in Steam, you don't have to use Proton, since you can use the stock wine in your OS distribution to run Steam client for Windows, although it may have some issues that Proton may have resolved.

If Origin could publish some native Linux games, that would be really cool too. I no longer buy any Windows games (only native Linux games) but that limits the selection in EA games.
