Javelin customization not working

No matter how many times I do it, the game will not let me change the colors on my suit or change the decal. Every time I go to change the colors, decal, swap out parts, and then exit after saving, it just goes back to the default look of the javelin before I customized it. Seeing all of my other frefrie not having an issue with this while I struggle is making me not want to play the game please fix this. This is something that shouldn't even be an issue

I don't want to play because I chose the Colossus and the orange is absolutely ugly.
