Issue launching game

I have been trying to launch Sims 3 through my origin app on my Mac but each time I have tried it says make sure you have internet connection, if it continues to happen try again later. I have tried numerous times and have internet connection but am still encountering the same issue.

Thank you! That seemed to do the trick.

Can you please assist with how to try Sims4 for a trial? It has allowed me to add it to my profile but says only for Windows?

@brookemandile  The trial is in fact only for Windows; it was never made available in macOS.  For what it's worth, the base game is only $5 U.S. right now, or $6.24 if you want the Digital Deluxe.  If you do want to buy it, be sure to get a standalone copy of the game, not an Access subscription.  Here's a guide:
