I've been trying to download origin for some time now but I can't. I'm getting the same message every time.
"origin installation requires an internet connection." The thing is, I have internet!
Here are some notes:
I've lost hope, please help.

Ok @lovely07017
your system meet the following requirement: you have Windows 7 Service Pack 1 or later (very important) ? This is how to keep your windows computer up to date https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/311047/how-to-keep-your-windows-computer-up-to-date and only now, try to install Origin https://www.origin.com/en-ie/download
My Opinion is no more important or right than yours.I'm a gamer like you, trying to help you (i'm not an EA employee).
If you want to know us or/and come up with ideas to improve the Origin platform or/and talk about anything and many more besides, you could also visit the NEW section Origin General Discussion http://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/bd-p/origin-general-discussion-en

Hi @lovely07017
Make sure Time/Date is correctly set in your machine.
Clear DNS cache https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/how-to-flush-dns-cache-for-windows/
Clear the browser cache: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clearing-your-browsers-cache
Clear hosts file http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034 (please do this step again)
Restart your machine.
NOTE if your issue persists try to reset (not restart) your modem, resetting your modem can fix gaming troubles, "can't get on the Internet" problems, port issues, wireless issues and device conflicts.

Thank you for responding,
I'm getting the same message...
I did everything that you told me to do except I didn't reset the modem. honestly, I don't think there's a problem with the modem, simply, because I've tried to install origin on another laptop and it worked without any problems. I honestly think there's a problem with my laptop. But I don't know what..

Ah, silly me, my computer isn't fully up to date. I'm going to update now. I'll let you know if the problem still arises after the updates!
