I can't play the game after title screen loads

Hi, I downloaded Vacation Question: The Hawaiian Islands earlier today and for some reason, the game won't launch correctly. The screen is minimized and one half of the screen is pitched black. When the title screen does load, I can't even move my mouse cursor to start the game, whether I'm using the mouse pad or touchscreen. I can't exit the game so I'm forced to shut down my laptop (HP Pavilion x360). I tried again a few more times, but the outcome is still the same. Is there anywhere to fix it?

Update: I read through some similar problems that other gamers had and I uninstalled and reinstalled Origin. The problem is still there. I also have a picture of what the title screen looks like. Does anyone know how to fix this?
