I can't open sims 4 [after getting a new patch]

@1Panda03  A bit more information would be helpful here.  Does your computer run Windows or macOS?  Does the game fail to open in the first place, or does it crash, and when?  Do you get any error messages?  If so, please post a screenshot here.

I am having the same issue.  I start it, gets to where you are either starting a new game or even trying a saved game and it just gets stuck on loading it.  It will either sit there and load all those hints or it will go to a white screen and that's it.  This is ridiculous.  I have played Sims 4 for 5 years and never had a problem and now I can't play.
