I can install origin because of error 16:-1

I bought a way out to play on steam, and when trying to launch it, it asks me to install origin. I had previously had it but bc of error 16:-1 i uninstalled but now i cant even reinstall. Ive updated my  drivers as well as my pc. Please help

Sorry to hear that you are having issues @LILEXTENDO999.

When this issue occurs you can fix it if you take a couple of minutes to go through the following steps:

• Close Origin completely by right clicking the Origin system tray icon and selecting Exit.
• Make sure Time/Date is correctly set on the PC
• Make sure Origin is authorized by your anti-virus and firewall
• Reset Internet Explorer Settings
• Untick the options in LAN Settings ( make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server )
• Clear Origin Cache Data
• Reset the Windows Host File
• Reboot your computer. Now right-click Origin and select Run as administrator
• If still unresolved, please do a clean boot
