I am trying to uninstall origin and I got an error

★★ Novice

I have been trying to open, uninstall do anything with origin and I am getting this error, Photo of the error will be included in this. I have spent hours trying to fix this error! I have done all the things that have been suggested. I really do not know what to do anymore. Is this an origin problem? I was hoping to uninstall to fix it because that is what it is saying to do, but I am still getting the error! I am just trying to play The Sims4.

Hey @sophia1099, as @CarbonCarl said can you try installing the most up to date version of VC++ to see if it helps.

You can find the latest version on the Microsoft website: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

You need to install both of the following:

  • vcredist_x86_vs2015 (for 32bit Windows version)
  • vcredist_x64_vs2015 (for 64bit Windows version)

If you get the message that the files are already installed, select Repair instead. It is recommended to run the installer as administrator (right-click the file, select run as admin).

Hi @sophia1099

Try installing visual studio from the following link, both the x64 and x86 version. After install reboot your PC and see if you can do anything with Origin.
