HOW CAN l TRANSFER a game to one of my friends account?

Hey @bridiculous  it is possible to gift a copy of a game to a friend even if you already own the game.

HOW DO I SEND A GIFT TO MY FRIEND?

It’s easy to send games and extra content to friends.

Here‘s how you can send a gift:

1. Find what you want to gift in the Origin store.
2. Click the Buy button pull-down menu.
3. Select Purchase as a gift.
4. Origin will bring up a list of friends you can send the gift to.
   • If you do not see your friend in the list, try searching for them in the search bar.
5. Click the plus sign (+) next to their name, then click Next.
6. Write a note to your friend (or not), then click Next again.
7. Follow the prompts to make your purchase.
   • You can use credit cards, PayPal, IDEAL, DotPay, KCP, and E-Wallet to pay.
   • Note: Payment methods vary based on where you live.

Hi, 

I do not believe you can transfer one of your own games to a friends account. This is only possible if you own multiple accounts yourself and is a very risky process. Details can be found HERE

You can however purchase a game as a gift for a friend by using the drop downs on the game purchase page.

Is this still accurate? I don't see any drop downs on the purchase page.

Oh, I see the issue. I can't buy it as a gift if I already own it. Boo!

Sorry to necro a month old thread, but I'm not seeing a gift option for a game I already own. Trying to buy a copy of Anthem for my friend. I already have the deluxe whatever edition, and when I go to the store page all I see is "Anthem is already in your library!" I can click "View In Library" or if I hit the drop down, I see "purchase different edition", but after clicking that there is no gift option. In fact, since I own the highest edition of the game, I don't see any purchase options at all, let alone gifting.

If I go to Battlefield V, a game I do not own, I see the "Purchase as gift" option in the dropdown. I also could purchase Titanfall as a gift even though I do own that one, but no such option exists for Anthem.

So... I already bought the game. How can I gift a game that has already been bought, also... I got a card with money on it and put it on the wrong account, how can I gift that to my account? I need help!!
