Gameplay Lost Sims 4

After the downloading the new sims 4 update all of my previous game play is gone from the entire game including the gallery. I had over 65 hours logged is there anyway to recover it?

@maireadmccaff  There may be, depending on why your content disappeared.  Let me know whether you have Windows or macOS, and I'll move this thread to the relevant Sims section, where someone can go through the steps with you.
