Game updated (June 4) - now it wont launch

The recent update has caused me not able to launch my game.

The update itself was 9 gb as opposed to 2 gb like everyone else and now my game is screwed.

Do I really need to reinstall now?

If you are on PC you can try the repair function in Origin.

Tried the repair and then it started a new 27gb update. This is stupid. Probably need to do a full reinstall.

The 27GB is most likely just Origin checking the existing files.
