I was never able to get it solved. I gave up on it so Im playing it on another PC. What laptop did you get? The one that doesnt work with Sims 4 is my Motile laptop

its name is VC_redist.x86.exe

download it at Microsoft 

once downloaded and installed 

orgin program will work
