Error Code 20:99

I haven't used Origin for a while now, and I recently bought Mass Effect:LE which requires to have origin updated, so I tried a bunch of times to update Origin and this obviously didn't work, every time I tried to update it error code 20:99 showed, then I uninstalled origin thinking I could just download it again but to my surprise, after clicking download on the Origin page the download never started and Id get a connection timed out error from Google Chrome, I've tried a bunch of different solutions like doing a clean boot, flushing my DNS, changing DNS but it seems nothing works and I've already wasted like 3-4 hours trying to solve the issue.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues @Redver23. That error points to something blocking Origin so can you try the following steps to see if they help:

• Flush your DNS
• Reset your host files
• Switch to Google public DNS
