So i had the same problem as you guys during installation of BF4. I couldn't finish installation because directx had an error so i went to Battlefield 4 --> __Installer -- > directx --->redist

where i deleted all winrar archives left only DXSETUP, DSETUP.dll and dsetup32.dll. After that i opened DXSETUP installed it and from this moment i can enjoy the game.

I don't have directx instead I have vc or vp6

Just happened to me I fixed it by going into, program files(x86),Origin Games and then depending on which game you are trying to finalize go into that games folder and find, _Installer, directx, redist and in redist find DXSETUP just install that if that doesn't work im not sure what it could be

hey, so i got this error when downloading titanfall 2 and apex legends on my new computer,i tried digging through my folders and tried to repair/instal the vcredist thingy like one of the help forums said but that didnt work

i also just recently tried uninstalling origin and re installing it and downloading titanfall 2 again, and it still didn't work. i tried going into the vcredist thing again and repairing "vcredist_x64" and it did nothing.

Exactly same issue:

Error: 327684:1 linked with VC+ + ... try to reinstal as mentioned above and nothing. Reinstaled whole origin, nothing... Today downloaded this game (SIMS 4) alredy 6times and alwys i end up with same error....

Did you ever solve this? I'm having the same issue right now.

EDIT: I fixed it

When you click on the vc installers under the __Installer directory it prompts you to either uninstall or repair. Uninstall first, then run it again and you'll be able to install it again.

Hi. I know this post has been for almost 2 years (if not more), but I can come with a solution of the problem:

1. Right click on the game, then "Update the game"

2. Restart Origin (not the computer, only Origin)

Now the DLC's for DAO are installing
