If any of your selected folder contains non ASCI character, that can cause the same problem.

No unfortunately I chatted with someone from EA to help me fix this but I couldn't do much since I'm using my office's computer at home, and I'd have to ask the IT guy to install Origin... If that's not your case, try to get technical support by writing to EA.
