Downloads continue when I run the game

I have put 'do not download during game' mark. But when I run Apex it continues and as I have low speed internet everything laggs and the game crashes to main menu. Is it a bug? or I just have to wait untl the whole update is downloaded?

I'm not sure if I understood you correctly, but Origin was downloading an update for Apex Legends when you were playing this game, right? Or it also does it with any other game? In the first scenario (especially that we're talking about strictly multiplayer game), I would recommend to download the update first before playing Apex anyway - you might be unable to play it or will encounter many issues if your version of the game is outdated.

However, if Origin keeps pushing downloads during playing like that with other games, please try to clean its cache or reinstall it in the future.
