Download games without Origin client [ Edited ]

Is there a way to download games without the need of Origin Client? 

Or at least another site where I can buy The Sims 4

It takes forever to install the new update.. it's been two hours already. My friend is reinstalling it right now, it has taken him almost an hour and it haven't even passed half the bar.

Something is wrong.

And can't reach the support via chat anymore!

Did you end up finding another way to play The Sims without the need of Origin Client?

Or do you know if its possible to purchase Sims through Origin without paying for a membership?

I would also like to know that, I want to get away from the Orgin client as quickly as possible. The lack of support the staff gives is a joke.
