Hey I did everything they said and ended up going back to everything default and just doing another fix that another post said might work
in the orgin browser
top left click "Orgin"
un check "Show Orgin after gameplay"
next go to Orgin IN-GAME un check "enable orgin in game"
after failing to find the install.exe option and moving files around and editing the compatibility mode for both Orgin and anthem launch icon ^ those seem to work. I have a Ultra wide monitor so I thought that was the problem

I have tried both the previous suggestion and the other, but nothing is working for myself

Mrrhabhitz solution did not work for me until I did the following...
1. Moved said files into a new folder,
2. Moved the new folder to my desktop (leaving only dsetup, dsetup32 and dxsetup in the _installer > Direct x > Redist folder),
3. Ran the DXSetup file directly from the folder (as an ADMIN),
4. Switch to the Origin launcher (I left it running in the background whilst I did 1, 2 and 3 above) and re-clicked the 'Install' button on the Anthem Demo in 'My Games Library'.
I am not technical so I have no idea why I had to do the above, and I must add that the above isn't my idea, it is simply a combination of multiple posters advice chained together until I obtained a successful outcome.
Hopefully this helps someone.
