Could not connect to the server, please try again in a few minutes

In the past origin worked fine and I could play it regularly. But as of the last 2 mouths it just hasn't even started. Like I try to log onto origin and I'm greeted with "Could not connect to the server, please try again in a few minutes". And then if I finally manage to get into origin I it says "cant connect to origin at this time" . And when I click the go online button it never works. I know its not my wifi because I am always connected to it. And Ive rest my router more time than I can count. Ive also deleted and reinstalled origin 6 time. Please give me some advice on how to fix this.

Clear the browser cache: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clearing-your-browsers-cache

 

Clear hosts file http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034

 

Restart your machine and try to start Origin.
