Code already redeemed and game unavailable in Origin

I was attempting to upload my Spore game to Origin but it keeps telling me the code has already been used. I only have one Origin account and I have owned the physical copy of the game since I bought it back in 2014. I tried to get help from EA but it keeps giving me an error.

You made the right choice when trying to contact our live support in the first place, I'm afraid we cannot do much on the forum about issues with activation codes 

Could you tell us more about this error code you've encountered on the EA Help website? Have you tried to follow the instructions from this article when creating a case?
