Cloud Saves - Sims 4 [ Edited ]

I have recently reset my laptop, and I lost my saved games in Sims 4, I re-downloaded the game from Origin, but I couldn't find my Cloud Saves. I thought the cloud storage was saved on my account or something on Origin, which was happening in the background and I didn't need to do anything, but I guess I was wrong or something. I have the Cloud Storage enabled, but when I go to My Game Library > Sims 4 > Game Properties, I don't see any Cloud Saves. I suppose we can't do anything about it right now, thus in order to prevent this from happening in the future, do I have to manually backup my files in a different folder, or how does it work?

Hey @andrikats, the Sims 4 does not have a cloud save.
