I go onto the customer portal and click edit above my email, I type in the correct verification code then type in the email i want it changed to it tells me that a verification email has been sent and I don't receieve it. I have tried for multiple days and clicked resend god knows how many times but the email doesn't enter my inbox, spam folder or any other place it could possibly be in. please help!

If you have problem with your account (as email change problem), contact EA assistance they can help you in live.
