My the Sims 4 wasnt updating, just got stuck on verifying game details and then failed. That for many days. Decided to completely uninstall the Orgin launcher and the game, but when i downloaded Orgin back, it shows the Sims 4 in my library, but I'm not able to play nor download it.
When I downloaded Orgin launcher again, it logged me back immediately, therefore I'm afraid it stored some data and the fact I deleted Sims separately messed up something, but I'm pretty sure I followed the instructions for uninstalling the game properly, so I'm not sure what's happening.

Before the next step, try just clearing your Origin cache:
https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
If the issue continues at that point then manually uninstall Origin using the specific steps here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/#uninstall-advanced
Reboot and then download the most recent installer from here: https://www.origin.com/irl/en-us/store/download
Run the Origin installer and then retest again. Do let us know how you get on, thanks.

Deleting cache didn't work, tried deleting Origin manually again and everything seemed to be working, but when i logged in it gave me "Apologies for the inconvenience, we’re currently unable to retrieve your list of games. Please reload and try again.". I did reload, even restart my computer, but it made no difference.
(If it helps im using a mac)

@Okcy_57 What version of macOS do you have? If you're running Yosemite, it may help to do a clean uninstall of Origin and then download a legacy version instead. Be sure to disable auto Origin updates when you install.

If you have a more recent OS, please make sure you don't have any proxies enabled.
