Can't Redeem Game Code

I wanted to get Spore on Origin, and copied the key from steam and put it into Origin. It recognized the game was Spore and gave me a bunch of language options. The first 3 were niche and uncommon languages, while all the more common ones(English GB, English US, Spanish, French, Portuguese, etc.)  were lumped in with the 4th language option. When I click any of these options, a green check mark appears, but I can't interact with it. Clicking on it doesn't confirm the code or anything, all I can do is select another option to not get or quit the redeeming process.
