Can't Download Origin

I just bought Sims 4 for the first time on a PC, so I've never downloaded Origins before. Right now my problem is every time I try to download it the 0xc000007b error appears. I've tried everything for the past two hours. Was wondering if there is a simply and quick solution or even a solution in general?

Hey  @xomiyaxo can you try installing the most up to date version of VC++ to see if it helps.

You can find the latest version on the Microsoft website: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

You need to install both of the following:

• vcredist_x86_vs2015 (for 32bit Windows version)
• vcredist_x64_vs2015 (for 64bit Windows version)

If you get the message that the files are already installed, select Repair instead. It is recommended to run the installer as administrator (right-click the file, select run as admin).

Been trying for over 2 days now, 

fresh clean install of windows on my laptop,

tried to install origin,

came up I was missing .DLL files, MSVCR and VCRUNTIME, I fixed these issues

im now faced with a completely different error, and one which I cannot fix at all,

iv installed every single VC++ from 2010 to most recent, both 32 and 64 bit versions individually iv turned on NET framework which windows doesn't automatically turn on,

iv literally tried every single fix that I can see on this website,

iv reinstalled windows 3 times aswell

iv run a disk check

iv run cleaners iv done the lot,

just to reiterate, I don't have the programme installed,and it has never been installed on this laptop, im trying to install for the first time.

iv been at this now for close to 3 days and im getting very frustrated.
