Can't Add Friend [ Edited ]

Can't add friend on Origin. We can find each other's profiles just fine, but when we hit "Send Friend Request" it doesn't go grey or anything, it just stays orange. We can add other people no problem, just him and I can't. Both of us turn up when we search for profiles. 

Tried blocking and unblocking, and restarting origin.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues @HotelM0scow.

It's an odd one and one thing I would suggest trying is setting your phone up as a hotspot and connecting through it. Once done could you try adding each other to see if it works?
