Can join a party on battlefield 1 pc

I am trying to play battlefield 1 with my friend but the game says it cannot join the party, ive already looked up to see if others can play with their friends but they couldnt either. what can i do

Have you tried re-downloading the latest version of Origin or clearing it's cache?
