Apex Legends refusing to download properly

Despite being on a wired connection with good internet speeds (1.5Gbps symmetrical)  Apex legends refuses to download properly, the game will start downloading, then after a few minutes drop to 0b/sec then stay there, It can somewhat resume if I pause and restart the download, but doing so puts me in the game with broken/missing textures. I've tried everything other than a complete reinstall of the game. IS there any possible remedy for this? Is something wring with Origin or is it something internet related?

Hey @Joshstylegaming, can you ensure that you are running Origin as administrator and that your firewall and anti-virus are not blocking Origin and that you also have the ports for Origin open.

The ports to open are:

• TCP: 80; 443; 9960-9969; 1024-1124; 3216; 18000; 18120; 18060; 27900; 28910; 29900
• UDP: 1024-1124; 18000; 29900

You can also try turning off the routers firewall to see if it helps.
