Anthem wont update

Anthem wont update. I click on the update button and origin tries to verify files but seems to get stuck.  A few minutes later a see an Anthem game failed to download pop up window.  I was able to play Anthem this morning before the update.  

Any ideas on what is going on?

Same exact thing happening to me. i got to 99% on my first attempt then it crashed with an error. Now everytime i try it get t he same message. Can't verify game files. Friggin EA.

I had the same issue, after fishing around. Try turning on Safe download,

Click Origin -> Application settings -> Diagnostics then turn on Safe mode download (close origin and re-open). I managed to finish my update with this.

Oh and I had my windows anti-virus turned off.
