As Walmart is an authorized seller of EA games, it's responsible for providing you the product you paid for, which in this case is a working code. Before doing anything else though, please make sure you're entering the code correctly—sometimes a zero can look like the letter o, and an i can look like a one, etc.
If you're sure you're entering the code correctly, it's best to contact EA customer support to confirm that the code isn't usable. EA support may be able to help you if you provide your receipt—you can take a photo and upload it directly into a chat window.

If the code isn't valid though, you'll need to contact Walmart to get this sorted out. It would help to have the confirmation from EA that the code doesn't work. Walmart should be able to replace it or give you a refund.
